Accounting and bookkeeping

Books kept properly, management accounts that mean something, and year-end statements ready for the auditor.

Good accounts start with books that are kept properly every month. Our accounting team keeps general and subsidiary ledgers for clients on Sage Pastel, Pastel Partner and QuickBooks, and senior staff review every entry before it reaches the general ledger.

From those ledgers we prepare monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual financial statements, including statutory financial statements with all the disclosures needed for submission to regulators.

We also build management packs to your requirements: results against budget, forecast and the prior year, cash flow forecasts and measures such as break-even point and profitability by sector. At year end your auditor gets a complete file with every balance sheet account reconciled, which makes the audit quicker and helps keep its fee down.

Who it is for

Who we do this for

  • Owner-managed businesses without a full-time accountant
  • Companies whose own finance team needs senior review and year-end support
  • Subsidiaries that report monthly to a parent company
  • Businesses that want virtual CFO support instead of a full-time hire
