Tax advisory and compliance

Returns filed on time, VAT kept straight, and planning advice before a transaction rather than after it.

Tax touches almost every business decision, so we treat it as part of the advice rather than a filing exercise at the end of the year. The tax team is led by our Managing Partner, Zaeem Anwar.

We prepare and file income tax and VAT returns for companies and individuals, keep VAT registers, and deal with assessments, queries and disputes with the Botswana Unified Revenue Service (BURS) on your behalf.

We keep up with changes in tax and company law and tell clients how they are affected. When something significant is planned, such as a new investment, a change in how the business is owned or bringing in staff from abroad, we advise before it happens, while the options are widest.
